Nur Amirah binti Mohd Razin is currently an associate consultant at ISRA International Consulting Sdn.Bhd. She has a master’s degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and holds a bachelor’s degree in Shariah (Islamic Banking and Economics) from Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. On top of that, she is an AAOIFI Certified Shariah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) fellow and a Shariah Executive Training certificate holder. She is also a former Head of Secretariat at Malaysia Young Shariah Scholars Association (MySSA) since 2018, catering to the activities of young Shariah graduates’ fraternities. While pursuing her master’s degree, she also has been involved in a few research projects grants as a research assistant at IIUM IIiBF. Her core research interest is in governance, takaful, microfinance, and Islamic social finance, encompassing zakat and waqf.
